Tacto is an orthopedic and medical massage therapy practice in NYC. We provide an inclusive and safe space for women, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, dissidents, and their allies to reconnect and ground in their bodies.

I’m a queer child of immigrants, born in New York City and raised in the Andes mountains of Ecuador.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist and student of Traditional Chinese Medicine, my work is about creating space for you to reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit, through intentional, therapeutic touch.
My style of bodywork is slow, intentional, and deep—grounded in trauma-informed and evidence-based practices. I believe everyone deserves care that is thoughtful, inclusive, and safe.
Together, we’ll work to bring a little more ease, presence, and relaxation into your life.

Deep tissue and Myofascial release

Slow, focused pressure to release the deeper layers of muscle and fascial tension. Ideal for chronic tightness, postural imbalances, old injuries or persistent knots.

Top surgery post-operative recovery

Gentle, targeted care to support healing after chest surgery. the focus is on reducing swelling, freeing up nerve endings by breaking down scar tissue, and encouraging mobility while respecting recovery needs.

Prenatal and postnatal massage

Eases pregnancy-related aches and helps new parents reconnect with their bodies, release tension, and restore balance after childbirth.

Trigger point therapy

Targets hyperirritable spots in muscle tissue to relieve referred pain.

Scar tissue work

Specialized techniques to reduce adhesions and improve mobility in scars and the area where the scars live. Helps the scar tissue feel less restrictive.

Sports massage

Dynamic, goal-oriented work for athletes or active individuals. Enhances performance, prevents injury, and speeds up recovery with deep pressure and stretching.

Cupping therapy

Uses suction cups to lift and separate tissue, improving circulation and releasing tightness. Helps with muscle tension, inflammation, and improving mobility.

Acupressure

Applies pressure to specific acupuncture points to balance energy flow. Non-invasive and effective for pain relief, stress reduction, or digestive issues.

This is more of an intro to my work or if you are new to receiving body work, this might be a good option. Sessions typically start with a detailed intake to figure out the best approach—whether it’s a full-body tune-up or focused work on a specific area. We can figure it out together.

More time means deeper, more intentional work—whether it’s tackling stubborn tension, zeroing in on what needs attention or a session for a full body reset.

Two hours to dig deep. Great for chronic pain, multiple areas, or just taking your time to settle in. This session includes a free cupping or Gua-sha add-on if needed.
