Tacto is the art of mindful therapeutic touch. As my hands meet the skin, you’re invited to explore the depth of pressure, the stories textures tell, the soothing warmth, and the rhythm of breath. This isn’t just about sensation; it’s about presence and reconnecting with your body.

Tacto becomes a bridge for grounding you in the physical, releasing what does not serve you and awakening your body’s inner wisdom.

The full story

This journey started for me as a personal quest to find sustainable ways to manage my own depression and anxiety. Through bodywork, I discovered how therapeutic touch could reconnect me to parts of myself I’d forgotten—or never even knew existed. I didn’t realize how much my physical pain was tied to anxiety, or that I needed to fully engage my diaphragm with each breath to help reduce anxiety symptoms. Learning that massage could release serotonin and dopamine—hormones that stabilize mood—and then feeling that shift in my own body made it clear that I wanted to share this work with others. Now that I know these things, I’m committed to keeping the knowledge accessible. No gatekeeping here.

I studied massage at the Swedish Institute, graduating right in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic. Picture PPE, uncertainty, and a world suddenly starved for human connection. When touch itself became scarce, my purpose crystallized: to hold safe spaces where people could feel, process, and heal. That hasn’t changed.

At the end of the day, my greatest hope is that every client leaves feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter than when they arrived. Trust, compassion, and collaboration are the foundation of my practice—because healing isn’t something I do to you, but something we create together.

My practice is built for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, immigrants, women, and allies. Healing should be accessible, affirming, and empowering—no exceptions. Whether you’re managing stress, recovering from injury, navigating transition, or just need a moment to breathe, you’re welcome here exactly as you are.

We start with a thorough chat to understand your needs and goals. Sessions happen in a quiet space with music and ambiance designed to help you relax. We’ll go at your pace, check in often, and make sure the session feels right for you.

Wear whatever’s comfy. Most people keep their underwear on, some go fully undressed, and others stay fully clothed—all options are fine. You’ll be draped with a sheet, and I’ll only uncover the area I’m working on (e.g., just your leg if that’s the focus). If anything ever feels too exposed or unsafe, tell me immediately. My priority is your comfort, safety, and trust.

Aim to eat something light about an hour or two before your massage. A heavy meal can leave you sluggish or cause discomfort, while going in too hungry might leave you lightheaded or queasy. Hydrate well, too—your muscles will be more responsive, and it helps flush out tension.

This space isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up for yourself, exactly as you are.

No. Cannabis numbs your pain perception, making it harder to tell when something is too much during the session. We need clear communication to work safely and effectively—so keep it out of your system before your appointment.

Same rule applies. Alcohol dulls your senses and makes it difficult to know your real limits. It’s best to avoid it before your session so we can focus on your body’s needs without interference.

Relaxed. Calmer. Lighter. Ideally, you’ll notice less pain than when you walked in. After a deeper session, some soreness for a day or two is normal—think of it like post-workout stiffness. Drink water, move gently, and use heat on tight areas to help your body recover.

It confirms your spot. You’ll get a text with details after booking. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 24+ hours before your session. Less than 24 hours? It’s non-refundable—but it helps cover basic costs. We appreciate your support!

Late arrival? You’ll still get the rest of your scheduled time.

Cancel 24+ hours before? No charge.

No-show or cancel last-minute? 100% of the session fee is charged. This is a small practice—your commitment helps me keep running.

Cash, Card, HSA and FSA are accepted – Superbills coming!

You don’t need to be “crunchy,” “broken,” or even in pain to benefit from massage. You just need to have a body. Our bodies carry stress, tension, and the weight of daily life—physically and emotionally. Massage isn’t a luxury; it’s a way to reconnect with yourself, reset, and honor the vessel you live in. In a perfect world, it’d be as accessible and routine as a check-up. But until then, giving yourself permission to slow down and receive care is already a step toward showing up for yourself—and everyone around you—in a healthier way.
